A-     The Graduate Administrative Board (GAB)

On December 28^th, 1998, Chairman Charbagi recommended to President Mallat the following prepared documents:

The creation of a Graduate Administrative Board with the powers to:

-  Set the rules and regulations for graduate studies

-  Admit members to the teaching faculty of the Graduate School at both levels, the Master’s and the Ph.D. levels.

-  Set Curriculae for both levels with specific majors in each, including courses carrying credits and research support.

1.      The creation of the Master’s program of study in 10 different majors, namely:

-        Master in Management MBA

-        Master in Marketing MBA

-        Master in Banking and Finance MBA

-        Master in Accounting/Audit MBA

-        Executive Master of Business Administration Executive MBA

-        Master of Science in Economics MS

-        Master of Science in Civil Engineering MS

-        Master of Science in Electrical Engineering MS

-        Master of Science in Electronic Engineering MS

-        Master of Decision and Computer Technology MS

2.      The creation of the Ph.D. programs of study in 4 different majors, namely:

-        Ph.D. in Management

-        Ph.D. in Marketing

-        Ph.D. in Finance

-      Ph.D. in Accounting/Audit
